Bajaj Auto, India, the world's largest manufacturers of
'tuk-tuk' and one of the motorcycles manufacturers in the world, launched
yesterday its new motorcycle "Boxer 150", the 'No Problem bike', with
an engine capacity of 150 cc. It is equipped with the new ExhausTec technology,
which is environmentally friendly and fuel-efficient.
The new motorbike is with a newly customized design and
technology in accordance with the requirements of the Egyptian market which
made it safe, distinct, stable on the road, solid and reliable in the toughest
conditions of movement and travel.
In this context, Bajaj has also launched in front of the
pyramids "Bajaj Marathon" touring the Governorates of Egypt over 13
days ending at Aswan, where 15 Boxer 150 bikers, will cut the distance of 2,500
km to show the strength and quality of the new motorcycle on real grounds.
Mr. Dharmesh Banerjee, Director of Planning and Marketing
for Bajaj Auto, India says: "The launch of the new motorcycle," Boxer
150 " in the Egyptian market is intended to serve the middle class and
low-income people and help them accomplish purposes of trade, professional and
small projects that will improve their living conditions."
He added: "Currently in Egypt the bikes have a lot of
problems like vibration, engine overheating, and loud engine noise etc. and
hence are very unreliable. For a whole year, we have been doing some extensive
field research only to find out that the people in Egypt are aspiring for a
better motorcycle but having no alternative to the currently sold Chinese
bikes. Hence, to fulfill this rising need, we thought of making a 'No Problem' bike:
BOXER 150."
The new bike is known for giving 'no problem' to the
consumer, and has the widest seat for a motorcycle, to accommodate passengers
comfortably alongside luggage and a strong body designed specifically to deal
with rough terrain and high temperatures without hardship. "The aim of
Bajaj marathon is to show to our customers the real strength of Boxer 150 and
why it is called the 'no problem' bike," said Banerjee.
On the occasion Dr.Raouf Ghabbour, CEO of Ghabbour Auto,
mentioned that "the launch of the new BOXER 150 model shows our desire to
increase our market presence & Motorcycle share in the Egyptian market,
which confirms the enormous economic potential of Egypt to be able to hold the
privileged position both on the regional & international level."

division, mentioned that Boxer 150 has attractive features, technical
superiority and is attractively priced, to encourage common man to own this
vehicle.
